Arnold E Brown, at age 60, passed away on July 24, 2015, with his family by his side in Wilmington, DE. Arnold was born February 8, 1955, in West Chester, PA and was the son of Flora I. Wilson and the late Robert M. Brown. Arnold graduated from Kennett High School where he was involved in numerous sports. At a very early age, he took a great interest in golf, basketball, soccer, and playing cards. He was a member of the Avondale Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed camping and hiking. Soon after high school, he married Angela Walter-Brown in 1985. They were blessed with their only daughter Andrea J. Brown. He worked at several different jobs; Royal Foods, UPS, Sacred Heart Nursing Home, and the Downingtown Golf Club. His spent the better part of his life in Wilmington, DE, but was always devoted to his roots in Avondale and Kennett Square, PA. With great admiration, Arnold leaves behind his beautiful daughter and granddaughter; Andrea J. Brown and Ariyana Brown, as well as three brothers and four sisters: Merice R. Brown from Durham, NC, Dwight C. Wilson from Wilmington, DE, James W. Wilson from Wilmington, DE, Sheila R. Robinson from Wilmington, DE, Paula Durant from Atlanta, GA, Gloria L. Carson from Wilmington, DE, and Sherry Wilson-Ellerbe from Newark, DE. In addition, he joins his predeceased father, Robert M. Brown, brother, Erick W. Brown, and sister, Eydie D. Graves. With devotion and love, Arnold is survived by a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and very good friends.
